Job Type: Contract (6 months plus a 6-month extension)

Work Type: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Overview of Role

Our client is seeking a skilled .NET Developer with robust experience in designing, developing, and maintaining .NET applications and SQL Server databases. The candidate will contribute to the development of a Training Framework Support System, participate in technical discussions, and support knowledge transfer to teams. This role involves both backend development and UI/API development, with exposure to Azure DevOps.

Role & Deliverables

• Design/Development of the Training Framework support system. 
• Supporting the development/business team. 
• SQL server database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance (backup, restore), testing and performance tuning.
• Participation at meetings.
• Provide Knowledge transfer to development/support teams. 
• Defining, producing & updating associated technical documentation.

Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated experience in implementing .NET-based software projects over the last four plus years.
• Experience in UI development using Angular framework.
• Proven database development experience, including creating stored procedures, triggers, and database tuning.
• Developing and maintaining REST APIs for integration purposes.
• Working with Azure DevOps tools and workflows.
• Four plus years’ experience with application design, development, testing, and implementation of .NET applications with SQL Server backend.

Education & Certifications

• Degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in .NET development, Azure, or SQL Server (if available).

Visa

• Irish/EU Citizen or Stamp 4 Visa holder.
