About The Role

MUBI is fast-growing, and we’re looking for an Apple Product Engineer to help shape the future of how people watch films on iOS, tvOS, and visionOS. This hybrid role is based in Vienna with our Apps & TV team.

You’ll be at the heart of our Apple ecosystem: building new and developing existing features, evolving our suite of apps, staying ahead of industry trends, and ensuring MUBI continues to deliver a best-in-class viewing experience.

Where you'll have impact:

• Design, build, and evolve features that make our apps stand out — from concept to launch to continuous improvement.
• Shape the full Apple ecosystem: MUBI’s streaming apps on iOS, tvOS, and visionOS, plus our cinema-ticketing app, MUBI GO.
• Collaborate with design to bring new features that feel true to the platform.
• Use data and insights to fine-tune our core flows.
• Partner with our streaming team to ensure a world-class playback experience.
  
  

What you'll bring:

• A deep understanding of the native landscape — from product nuances to technical best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Solid experience with REST APIs and principles around them.
• Background in video streaming is a big plus — bonus points if you’ve tackled playback challenges before.
• Curious and fast learner, eager to explore new technologies and apply them across platforms.
• Self-driven and energised by owning platforms and shaping apps millions of people use.
• Thrives in an agile, iterative environment, where shipping, testing, and improving never stop.
  
  

For employment in Austria the minimum salary for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 52.802 gross per year. The actual salary is dependent on your professional and personal qualifications.
