We’re representing a high-growth company redefining how businesses manage and move digital assets. Their technology powers seamless, low-cost crypto payments and financial integrations for clients worldwide backed by strong commercial traction.

They’re now seeking a hands-on security leader to take ownership of all aspects of information and cloud security. This position sits at executive level, reporting directly to the CTO, and plays a key role in the company’s broader European build-out.

This is an opportunity for a CISO to shape security foundations at both a technical and strategic level. You’ll design resilient cloud and data protection systems, strengthen software delivery security, and guide the organisation through its next phase of regulatory approval.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the company’s information security roadmap, balancing practical risk management with business agility.
• Build secure, scalable systems across infrastructure, applications, and data pipelines.
• Embed security controls across the software lifecycle and cloud environment.
• Implement monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities.
• Partner with compliance and engineering on governance frameworks and regulatory alignment.
• Prepare for upcoming certifications and audit readiness as the organisation scales.

Your Background:

• Around 7+ years in cybersecurity or related technical security roles.
• Strong grounding in cloud infrastructure security (ideally AWS).
• Ability to understand and assess code across multiple languages (Python, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with edge protection, threat monitoring, and automation practices.
• Proven ability to prioritise, self-manage, and make informed trade-offs in fast-paced environments.
• Exposure to FinTech, payments, or crypto ecosystems is advantageous.
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CEH, OSWE) welcomed but not essential.

The Package on Offer:

• Salary: €130,000 - €170,0000
• Remote Position: Ireland based and able to commute to Dublin
