About The Job

As a Network Engineer at Telavox, you will be a vital part of our infrastructure team, responsible for transforming abstract requirements into robust, automated solutions using agile NetOps practices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality network solutions that support our global communication services.

A Typical Day In This Role Involves

• Network Architecture development: Designing and developing large-scale network architectures that meet the needs of our growing infrastructure.
• Automation and standardization: Implementing automation strategies to manage our on-premise data centers and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborative problem solving: Working with product teams to capture requirements and support our expansion into new markets.
• Technical implementation: Utilizing tools like Juniper, Kubernetes networking, and various routing protocols to build resilient and scalable network solutions.
• Performance monitoring: Using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus to monitor and maintain the health of our network infrastructure.
  
  

This role is based in our Malmö office, where you’ll join a collaborative and innovative work environment and have opportunities to influence our network engineering practices.

About You

We’re looking for a Network Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network design, troubleshooting, and infrastructure automation, preferably in an ISP or telecom environment. You thrive in a technical role, have a strong grasp of networking principles, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Your collaborative spirit and structured approach will help drive your projects forward.

Competencies

• Experience developing large network architectures
• Strong background in Linux servers and networking
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, hypervisor, and container-based workloads.
• Proficiency in tools and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, IPsec, and Wireguard.
• Scripting skills in Ansible, Bash, and Python for automation
• Experience with monitoring tools like Observium, Netbox, and Icinga
• Fluent in English
  
  

Good-to-have Skills

• Passion for adjacent technologies in infrastructure and programming
• Network or cloud infrastructure certifications (AWS, etc.) are a plus, but not mandatory
  
  

Super-nice-to-have Skills

• Experience setting up and managing Kubernetes on-premise.
