We are on a mission to evolve from a security provider into the indispensable operational partner for our customers. You will be the driving force behind our existing MyBauWatch platform, supporting a pivot that translates our strategic vision into a world-class product. This is not an admin role; this is the role of a builder within a transformative strategic initiative in our company's history.

Your days will be filled with challenging and diverse tasks, including:

• Deeply understanding the needs of our users (the site manager and the on-site personnel) and ensuring every feature solves a real problem.
• Actively drive expansion of customer value proposition of MyBauWatch through delivery of value-adding features with a strong commercial acumen.
• Translating our strategic goals into a product vision & roadmap, business proposals, concrete epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team
• Managing key stakeholders (incl. development team), prioritizing, and championing the product backlog for MyBauWatch.
• Supporting the phased migration of our legacy applications (MyBauWatch and Checkin) to a new integrated platform, with a focus on a seamless CX.
• Define, implement and measure based product performance metrics (like user adoption and engagement) to evaluate the functional and commercial success of our platform and features.
• Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership to realize our product vision and report on progress.
  
  
  

Job requirements

As a Product Owner, it is crucial that you are strategic, analytical, and extremely user-focused. You see the big picture, understand how daily development contributes to our long-term goals, and are a master of prioritization. With your communication skills and pragmatic approach, you are the perfect addition to our driven team.

We are looking for someone who is actively involved and can be physically present at various BauWatch locations.

Core competencies:

• Customer focus & data-driven decision making: Proven track record using data and user research to inform product decisions.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Positive, driven and growth-minded problem-solver; proven ability to build trust, energize development teams, and motivate stakeholders
• Strategic vision: Ability to translate long-term vison into actionable, concrete steps.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills across all levels – development teams, senior management and C-suite executives.
• Technically proficient: Comfortable discussing APIs, data models, and system architecture; platform migration experience is a strong plus.
• Experience & Background requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a B2B SaaS, platform or agency environment.
• Fluent in Dutch & English (C1/C2-level), additional languages are a plus
• Higher education (Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent)
