SOC Analyst (Tier 2/3)

SOC Analyst (Tier 2/3) – Freelance | €900/day | Brussels | Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced SOC Analyst (Tier 2/3) to join a high-performing security operations team in Brussels. This is a freelance contract (€900/day) where you’ll be on the front line of defending critical infrastructure and responding to complex cyber threats.

What You’ll Do

• Investigate and respond to advanced security incidents and alerts
• Perform deep-dive analysis (network, endpoint, cloud, and log data)
• Hunt for threats proactively and enhance detection capabilities
• Collaborate with CERT, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to contain and resolve incidents
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC playbooks, tools, and automation

What You Bring

• 5+ years in a SOC or Cyber Defense role (Tier 2/3 level)
• Strong hands-on with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.)
• Deep understanding of attack techniques, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident handling
• Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, and forensics
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus)
