AI Prototyping & Development Internship (Maranello)

For this excited position, you will join the Digital Transformation, contributing both to the design and prototyping of AI-driven solutions and to the support and enhancement of existing AI and data-based applications.
You will collaborate with the team to design and develop AI prototypes addressing real business and technical challenges; assist in the experimenting and fine-tuning of AI/ML models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), computer vision and predictive analytics and also help to prepare and curate datasets needed for training and validating AI models. 
Moreover, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing AI-based or data-enabled applications. 

Required profile

You will ideally be recent graduate or Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related technical fields.
You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects that allow you to understand the business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). 
Fluent English is required. 
Hands-on experience (academic or personal) with Generative AI models such as LLMs, image generation, or embedding-based applications, and understanding of retrieval-based architectures using vector databases are considered a plus. 
Experience in Python for data processing, experimentation, or automation and knowledge of related libraries (e.g., Pandas, PySpark NumPy, Matplotlib) are required.
