About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for steering the success of complex, high-impact projects from initiation to completion. As the leader of project management activities, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes within defined timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, effective resource allocation, and the delivery of world-class solutions.

The Project Manager position spans multiple exciting programs at Prodrive Technologies, including:

- Embedded Computing Systems: Manage projects related to high-performance embedded systems, ensuring that teams are equipped to develop cutting-edge solutions for industries such as automotive and healthcare.

- Power Conversion: Oversee projects focused on power electronics, converters, and related technologies within emerging sectors such as renewable energy, semiconductors, and medical devices.

- Precision Solutions: Lead projects that provide advanced solutions for precision applications in the semiconductor and life sciences industries, focusing on Camera & Optics Components, Motion Components, and Application Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, high-stakes projects across various industries, ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to execution, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance) to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Identify and manage project risks, proactively developing contingency plans to address issues that may arise.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Regularly report on project progress, financials, and key milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team, coaching and mentoring team members as needed.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a strong technical background in sectors such as embedded systems, power electronics, or precision solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English (Dutch proficiency is advantageous).
