Cyber Security Specialist

We’re currently sourcing junior to mid-level Cyber Security Specialists for an upcoming contract opportunity in Toronto. We’re looking for candidates eager to grow their careers in cybersecurity operations and digital security transformation.

Key Focus Areas:

• Previous experience in threat detection or SOC analysis
• Strong understanding of incident management and investigation
• Solid technical depth in Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and M365 security tools
• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented personality
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present findings

Position Details:

• Title: Cyber Security Specialist
• Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
• Duration: 6-month contract (possibility of extension)
• Start Date: November 3, 2025

Overview:

This role supports a large-scale digital transformation project with a focus on cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response. The selected candidate will help monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, contribute to remediation initiatives, and strengthen security governance across the organization.

Preferred Experience & Certifications:

• 2–4 years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, Azure Security, or equivalent are an asset
