Front-End Engineer (React/ Growth-Focused)

The Role

They are seeking a motivated Front-End Engineer to join their team, with a passion for both software development and business growth. This role goes beyond coding - the engineer will help implement and analyse A/B tests, contribute to marketing initiatives, and translate insights into actionable improvements for their web and occasionally mobile platforms.

The engineer will work closely with stakeholders and other teams, ensuring their code is clean, performant, and maintainable while contributing innovative ideas to drive growth and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on growth experiments and A/B tests, analysing results and providing actionable insights.
• Support marketing initiatives, including landing pages, CMS updates, SEO, and platform integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable front-end code using ReactJS / Typescript.
• Work with Python back-end services and relational databases.
• Maintain workflows using GIT and CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage with teams across the business to contribute to innovative solutions and product enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of front-end development experience with ReactJS / Typescript.
• Business acumen and interest in growth initiatives, including A/B testing and interpreting data to inform decisions.
• Some knowledge of Python and OOP principles would be beneficial.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable, and high-performance code.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with distributed version control (GIT) and CI/CD tools.
• Bonus: experience with React Native or mobile app development.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO is a plus.
• Comfortable with flexible hours when needed to meet goals and deadlines.
