Senior Product Designer (Parental leave cover)

Company Description

Billo is looking for a designer to fill in during our principal designer’s parental leave.

Start date: December 1st

End date: August (with strong possibilities of extension) 

The role

We’re looking for an experienced product designer to lead the day-to-day design of Billo’s consumer facing products. These include iOS and Android apps, web apps and web pages.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience designing for native apps.
• High proficiency in Figma.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Strong ability to communicate design decisions clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

You Will

• Drive end-to-end product design, from discovery and concept to prototyping and production-ready UI.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketers and other designers to develop solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Wireframe and build prototypes to explore, validate, and communicate design ideas.
• Maintain and develop design systems and component libraries.

Big plus if you have experience in any of the following

• Designing for European accessibility act compliance.
• Implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
• Design system development.
• Designing graphics for marketing and branding.
• Designing consumer-facing fintech apps.
• Working in fast-paced environments like tech start-ups or agencies.
• Experience designing in Webflow.
