Functional Tester

We are looking for a Functional Testing Analyst to join one of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for performing Pre-User Acceptance Testing (Pre-UAT) to streamline and ease the end-user testing process. You will be an integral part of a collaborative "Payment" Squad, working on the transformation of a Core Banking System for a client that also carries out financial banking activities.

🤖 Responsabilities and Requirements:

• Develop comprehensive test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications to ensure all functionalities are covered.
• Perform functional testing activities before the official User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to identify potential issues and enhance the end-user experience.
• Log and escalate defects when identified, ensuring they are communicated to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Re-test corrected functionalities to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team including product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of test cases, test execution, and defect tracking to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.

🛠️ Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience in Functional Testing, business testing, QA, or similar roles.
• Familiarity with Pre-UAT and UAT processes.
• Experience with Payment systems and Payment messages is required, as you will join the Payment team in a Core Banking transformation context.
• Strong knowledge of test design, defect management, and retesting practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Squad-based teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ideally French-speaking, but English-only candidates will also be considered.
