Security Engineer – Eeklo (On-site, Dutch-speaking)

Join our global IT & Business Technology Services team supporting 1,350 users across 30 sites. We deliver secure, high-performance infrastructure across office and production environments, with a strong focus on networking and security.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and implement network security projects and operational improvements.
• Apply robust security layers across network, server, and cloud environments.
• Act as backup team lead and central contact for security incidents.
• Detect, investigate, and report abnormal or suspicious activity.
• Keep systems, processes, and user documentation up to date.
• Stay ahead of emerging security threats across workplace, cloud, and OT environments.

Technical Environment

• Firewalls: Palo Alto (rulebase design/setup)
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (network & security)
• Networking: Cisco (ISE, SDA, Catalyst, LAN/WLAN/SD-WAN)
• Security: IT/OT segmentation, Zero Trust, SOC/NOC operations, vulnerability & risk management
• Bonus: Familiarity with NIS2 directive

Requirements

• Must be Dutch-speaking
• Degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• Relevant certifications: Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Microsoft SC-200, SC-300
