UX/UI Lead

We’re looking for a UX/UI Lead (full-time, hybrid, Dubai) reporting to the Experience & Innovation Director to lead research, strategy, and high-fidelity design across new wins and active programs. You’ll establish repeatable processes, mentor junior talent, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact for clients across the Digital Experience team.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Client Management

• Lead pitches and rapidly mock up concepts to communicate product direction.
• Plan and facilitate discovery workshops, interviews, and stakeholder alignment.
• Translate business goals and research into clear UX strategies, hypotheses, and KPIs.
• Present and defend UX/UI recommendations to clients and internal leadership.

Research & Insight

• Own qualitative and quantitative research: stakeholder/user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Create artifacts that drive decisions: personas, jobs-to-be-done, journey maps, service blueprints.
• Synthesize insights into actionable requirements and prioritization frameworks.

Experience Design

• Define information architecture, user and process flows.
• Produce wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and clear specifications.
• Partner with UI to align visual design with systems, accessibility, and brand.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure intent is implemented accurately.

Experimentation & Measurement

• Design A/B, multivariate tests; define success metrics and readouts.
• Incorporate feedback loops, analytics, and heatmaps to iterate and improve.

Process & Systems

• Establish UX/UI best practices, documentation, and delivery playbooks.
• Build and maintain design systems and libraries for consistency and velocity.

Collaboration & Team Leadership

• Work closely with Product, PM, Content, Data, and Engineering to ship on time.
• Mentor junior designers (FT and FL), providing structured feedback and growth paths.
• Contribute to the UX practice roadmap and ways of working.

AI & Automation

• Integrate AI tools into research synthesis (e.g., clustering interviews, summarizing tests).
• Use AI to accelerate early design (wireframe generation, UX copy suggestions, flow automation).
• Partner with Strategy/Data on AI-driven insight

Requirements

• 7+ years in UX/UI with a track record leading end-to-end projects and teams.
• Strong portfolio spanning UI, research, IA/flows, prototyping, testing, and shipped work.
• Fluency with Figma, Adobe CC, Confluence, Jira; familiarity with Lookback, Respondent, Spline, Principle, After Effects; exposure to AI tools (e.g., Midjourney) is a plus.
• Confident facilitator and presenter with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable defining hypotheses, experiment plans, and success metrics.
• Experience working with government and major brands in MENA is highly desirable.
