.NET Tech Lead / AI Engineer

What you will do and why:

As a Tech Lead, you will guide and inspire an experienced team of developers, product managers, and testers, united by the ambition to continually evolve both our core product and our ways of working. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the team’s delivery from product discovery through to release and operational excellence.

You will leverage AI in your daily work — both as a development tool and to design solutions that help our customers integrate AI services with Viedoc.

Together with your PM counterpart, you will foster an agile culture that prioritizes quality, scalability, and information security. Our core tech stack includes .NET, C#, Azure, ASP.NET Core.

This means you will be responsible for:

• Lead technical design and execution from initial concept through release and operational support, ensuring high quality, scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Coach and mentor the engineering team — helping team members grow, facilitating knowledge sharing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Product Manager (PM) as a leadership pair, sharing accountability for the team’s roadmap, delivery, technical debt, and operational load.
• Collaborate with other Tech Leads and advocate for technology improvements, tooling, automation, and innovation within the broader organization.
• Ensuring information security and quality are prioritized throughout the development process.
• Contributing to system architecture decisions and addressing performance and scalability challenges.
• Build and foster an agile team by facilitating sprint plannings, retrospectives and stand-ups.

You love sharing your knowledge and want to celebrate both the small and the groundbreaking product breakthroughs with us. We also want you to have:

• Great communication skills and proven experience in leading development teams.
• +7 years of experience within .NET, C# and ASP.NET Core development.
• Proven record of designing scalable cloud-native services.
• Good knowledge of cloud architecture and services (Azure).
• Relevant education within IT or equivalent work experience.
• Eager to build software that accelerates life-saving clinical trials.
