Senior Front-End Developer

Title: Senior Front-End Developer – Full Stack, Front-End Focus

Location: Remote (Culver City, Cupertino, or New York, NY – PST hours required)

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end applications that are performant, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UI designs based on product requirements and design mockups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end interfaces with distributed back-end services.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and best practice implementations.
• Manage version control, testing, and deployment pipelines to ensure seamless code delivery.
• Support application debugging, performance optimization, and upcoming feature releases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing large-scale web applications.
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React, and Redux, with modern front-end tooling experience.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, performance optimization, and system design.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Sass).
• Proven ability to translate complex designs into responsive, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git version control, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and microservice-based architectures.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience implementing accessibility and front-end security best practices.
• Knowledge of relational and graph databases.
• Understanding of blockchain-related development is a plus.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
