Salary: up to 100,000 CHF

Kura is delighted to be partnering with an impressive Geneva-based start-up for a Graphic Designer to join the team.

Having officially launched this year you will join at a great time playing a key role in the early stages of the design strategy with new feature development looming.

Graphic Designer

As Graphic Designer you will play a key role in creating compelling visuals for editorial articles, social media and multimedia campaigns.

You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team which includes marketing & product to enhance the site’s design experience, support UI/UX initiatives and manage the digital library to maintain consistency and efficiency.

A snapshot of your role includes:

• Leading and contributing to website design elements with an understanding of UI/UX best practices
• Design editorial graphics, illustrations, and infographics to accompany articles and content
• Work with the internal team to translate complex stories into engaging visual content.
• Work alongside external agencies to lead the creation of assets for digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, and social media and more

What we’re seeking for in our next super hire:

• Training and/or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally with a media / news publication background (creating editorial imagery design is a big plus alongside designing a subscription-based web model)
• Afamiliarity with Figma for UI/UX work.
• Ability to balance creative innovation with a high-paced growth environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• The ability to quickly prioritize tasks based on organizational needs.
