AI/ML Engineer

As an AI/ML Engineer in the AI Development Group, you will work on the rapid prototyping, development, and integration of AI capabilities across Certis’ current and next-generation technology platforms. This role is pivotal in advancing Certis’ AI adoption journey, making AI a core driver of innovation and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore, experiment, and productize AI solutions, embedding advanced AI technologies into Certis’ software and hardware ecosystems to enhance security, automation, and operational intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the prototyping and development of AI solutions that strengthen Certis’ products and operations.
• Support the integration of AI technologies into existing and new software platforms to improve efficiency, scalability, and intelligence.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product teams to build, train, and deploy machine learning models.
• Develop and maintain clean, reusable, and efficient AI/ML code and components.
• Participate in data preparation, model evaluation, and performance tuning activities.
• Ensure AI models and systems meet security, compliance, and data privacy requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI practices within the team.

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in software development, with hands-on exposure to AI, machine learning, or deep learning technologies.
• Experience in building or integrating AI solutions within enterprise or product environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and ML model lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
