🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java & Oracle Developer to join a dynamic Agile/DevOps team in Amsterdam.

You’ll play a key role in modernizing PL/SQL systems into Java microservices, improving performance, and building scalable enterprise-grade applications.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Refactor PL/SQL scripts into Java (Spring Boot) services
• Develop and integrate REST / SOAP web services
• Automate testing and perform code reviews
• Analyze and optimize database performance
• Create and maintain UML documentation
• Work with Java 21 and modern DevOps tools

🧰 Tech Stack

💻 Backend: Java 17–21, Spring Boot

🗄️ Database: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL

🔗 Integration: REST, SOAP

🧪 Testing: JUnit, Mockito

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java & Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Skilled in service integration and refactoring legacy code
• Strong testing and analytical capabilities
• Fluent in Dutch (B2+) and English
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and technically driven
