A great client of ours, a leading investment bank, is seeking a skilled Networking Engineer to join their dynamic, innovative team in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a hybrid role, with only two days required in the office each week.

About the Role:

The bank’s networking team is crucial to ensuring the security and high availability of their platforms, which manage €125 billion in assets.

The role offers a chance to be part of a tight-knit team of 6 engineers, a technical Product Owner, and a Scrum master, all dedicated to maintaining a top-tier network infrastructure.

You will play an integral role in a significant Azure migration and in implementing the latest tools like Palo Alto Prisma Access, supporting the bank's Zero Trust strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement improvements to the network infrastructure to ensure scalability and security.
• Take ownership of network-related projects, from planning through execution.
• Manage and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet network requirements.
• Oversee network operations, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.
• Support the automation of network management processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Tech Stack:

• Palo Alto, Illumio, Infoblox, A10, Cisco, Aruba
• Azure Networking and automation using Python
• Monitoring tools in Azure cloud

Who You Are:

• Hands-on Network Engineer
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and likes to work with Azure
• You have up to 6 years experience, apply from two years experience onwards!
