Job Title: Cybersecurity Business Analyst

Location: Perth, Western Australia (Office-based)

Contract: 3-Month Contract

You must be based in Perth, WA. And have a minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity experience to apply. (No interns)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst to support business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering cybersecurity projects. This short-term engagement will focus on providing analytical, documentation, and coordination support across the full project lifecycle — from initial costing and estimation through to implementation and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning activities, including developing project cost estimates, sponsor briefs, and business documentation.
• Conduct detailed requirements analysis, stakeholder analysis, and process modelling to support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project documentation such as business requirements, test cases, and training plans.
• Assist with organisational change management (OCM) activities to ensure smooth adoption of cybersecurity solutions.
• Perform data analysis tasks including identifying duplicate records, reviewing access datasets, and developing or validating access rules.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to ensure solutions align with organisational goals and security standards.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve project outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within cybersecurity, IT security, or technology transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and process documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
• Familiarity with security principles, identity and access management, or risk management will be highly regarded.
