The Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, building, and optimising core backend services. Working with Golang, you’ll contribute to scalable architectures, performance improvements, secure API development, and integrations that ensure smooth operation of complex platforms.

You’ll be solving challenging engineering problems, from data flow and encryption to system reliability and scalability, in an environment where best practices, automation, and continuous improvement are at the heart of development.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Strong production-level expertise in Golang
• Solid understanding of databases, caching, performance tuning, and scalability strategies
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership from concept to production
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach in a remote-first setup
• Passion for applying technology to meaningful, mission-driven challenges
