DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a global financial institution’s technology team in Singapore. This role sits within the CI/CD Center of Excellence and focuses on building and operating an Internal Developer Platform to enable development teams across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Guide application teams in adopting DevOps practices and leveraging the internal developer platform
• Design and implement reusable CI/CD pipeline components and infrastructure automation modules
• Support Kubernetes-based workloads (OpenShift, AKS) and manage GitOps workflows
• Participate in a team rotation for production support, ensuring reliability of critical systems
• Deliver training and mentoring to uplift DevOps capability across teams
• Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, standards, and platform features

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of version control and CI/CD (GitLab or similar)
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including Helm charts and GitOps practices
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
• Strong communication skills and an enablement mindset
• Bonus: Experience with Crossplane, Go, or Kubernetes operators
• Bonus: DevOps or cloud-native certifications
