Information Security Expert

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as the go-to advisor on information security topics across the business
• Translating new regulations (DORA, BAIT, MaRisk) and emerging technologies into practical actions
• Shaping and improving policies, guidelines and frameworks for information security
• Running assessments, monitoring compliance and reporting findings to management
• Evaluating risks and threats and driving pragmatic solutions
• Ensuring agreed measures are followed through with internal teams and external providers
• Leading and supporting security and IT risk management projects through to delivery
• Raising awareness of security by coordinating training and communication programmes

What makes you right for this

• A background in IT/security with hands-on technical knowledge – enough to challenge and guide IT security teams
• Experience in financial services
• Familiarity with international security standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA, BAIT, MaRisk)
• A proactive, motivated mindset – comfortable with change, complexity and a bit of chaos
• Someone who brings ideas, thinks pragmatically and works well in a team environment
• Professional fluency in German, with good English skills
• A degree in IT, engineering, or economics
