Senior Network Engineer

We are working with a major NSW client seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their ICT team on a critical program.

📍 Location: Kingswood (on-site, 5 days per week)

📅 Contract: 11 months

💲 Rate: Up to $850 per day + super

As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll play a lead role in designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid network environments across a large-scale Health district. You’ll provide technical leadership, expert support, and ensure high network reliability and security in a mission-critical environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on expertise with Aruba / HP, Cisco, Palo Alto
• Solid knowledge of routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VRF)
• Experience with NAC, DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless (802.11), and telephony (SIP/H323)
• ITIL framework exposure – incident, problem, and change management
• Network security and compliance knowledge aligned to best practice & NSW Health policies
• Ability to mentor ICT staff and contribute to solution design
