Network Engineer

Title: Network Engineer

Location: Sacramento, CA, 95837 – Fully On-site

Duration: 6 months with possible extensions.

*Responsibilities: *

• Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, voice gateways, access points, and microwave radio equipment.
• Support day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident response.
• Assist with the implementation of new projects and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and processes.
• Work independently and collaboratively to support network availability and performance.

*Qualifications / Experience:

• Cisco Associate-level experience. Hands-on expertise with Cisco and non-Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with microwave radios and wireless access points. Knowledge of the OSI model and Cisco's three-layer hierarchical model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible and adaptable to new tools, technologies, and environments.
• CCNA Certifications are a plus
