For our client in the logistics sector in Bern, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Site Reliability Engineer.

This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of international parcel and mail services and to sustainably improve the customer experience.

Your tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain stable and reliable systems in a 24/7 operational environment
• Take a leading role as a Cloud Champion, driving cloud-related initiatives within the team
• Ensure the stability and resilience of cloud-based architectures
• Foster an agile team culture and promote continuous improvement

Your profile:

• Serveral years of experience as Site Reliablity Engineer
• Proven experience with modern development tools such as GitHub CI/CD, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube
• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for project and documentation management
• Hands-on experience in cloud development (preferably AWS), microservices architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with .NET and Angular
• Familiarity with ArgoCD and GitOps practices
• Knowledge of Kafka
• German or Italian language skills
