Head of Engineering | FinTech | Melbourne

Fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's most progressive FinTech's as a Head of Engineering. Leading multiple squads of talented Engineers, you'll be part of a team building out key products for a large customer base. Playing a hybrid role of hands-on (architecture design, process improvement etc) and strategic contributor, the Head of Engineering will support the CTO and other C-level stakeholders in elevating technology across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Leader of leaders - work with experienced Technical Leaders to help build a high performing environment
• Key strategic input - help to drive modern, scalable products
• Delivery - lead the team in the delivery of strategic decisions
• Champion best practice - ensuring quality, reliability and security
• Influence - working with C-level to ensure key technology decisions are implemented

Experience:

• Passionate & experienced in leading leaders with a focus on creating high performance
• Equally passionate about architecture design and strategic initiatives
• Strong cloud-native engineering background
• Proven ability to drive outcomes at C-level
• Experience modernising products
