We are offering exciting opportunities for motivated students to join our Research & Development team. We are primarily looking for internship as part of the curriculum and for a minimum duration of 6 months.
As R&D intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers on the development and testing of cutting-edge implantable medical devices and neurotechnology solutions at our Geneva headquarters.
Tasks
Assist in Prototype Development: Support the design and manufacturing of prototypes for implantable medical devices and electrodes.
Material Testing and Validation: Participate in the testing and validation of materials and electrode prototypes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Research and Feasibility Studies: Contribute to research efforts, assisting with feasibility studies and integrating new technological advancements into the projects.
Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Microtechnology, or a related field.
Required Skills:
Problem Solving: Strong enthusiasm for learning, with a creative approach to solving technical challenges under guidance.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with French or German as a plus.
Additional Experience (a plus):
Working Permit: Ideally B or C permit, or Swiss citizenship.

- Prior experience in laboratory and/or cleanroom environments as a part of an internship or coursework.
- Familiarity with thin-film technologies.
- Experience in neurotechnology.
- Hands-on experience with basic optical and electrical characterization.
