At Nexans, our local finance teams play a critical role in enabling the business to grow sustainably and remain compliant with international and local standards. In Sweden, the Finance department supports all market lines and business activities by delivering accurate financial insights, ensuring strong internal controls, and guiding strategic decision-making. We are now looking for a new Finance Director Sweden to join our team in Grimsas and help shape the future of electrification.

GETTING A FLYING START

As Finance Director for Sweden, you will take the lead in overseeing financial operations for Nexans Sweden AB. Acting as a strategic advisor to both the Finance Director PWR G&C Nordics and the local CEO, your mission will be to ensure financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. You will manage a skilled finance team, consolidate financial data across market lines, and drive forward our finance digitalization efforts to support the company’s long-term vision.

How You Make An Impact

  • You lead, motivate, and develop a local finance team to ensure high-quality reporting and financial performance.
  • You act as a key business partner, providing financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
  • You ensure compliance with local tax laws, IFRS, and Nexans Group policies.
  • You oversee budgeting, forecasting, and risk management processes at country level.
  • You drive digital transformation and promote a data-driven culture within the finance function.
  • You represent Nexans Sweden in external financial matters with transparency and integrity.


YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Strong experience in financial management or controlling, preferably in a multinational industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Swedish financial regulations, tax law, and IFRS standards.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and tools – particularly SAP.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • A hands-on leader with a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
