Job Summary (Golang AWS Developer)
- Role: Mid-Level Golang Developer (Automotive Domain)
- Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX
- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices in Golang using Gorilla Mux and gRPC.
- Integrate with MongoDB; perform complex queries and CRUD operations.
- Deploy and manage services on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3).
- Containerize applications with Docker; manage deployments using Helm and Kubernetes.
- Implement observability with OpenTelemetry; set up monitoring with Datadog.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, offshore teams, and participate in agile ceremonies/code reviews.
- 7-9 years in software development (minimum 4 years in Golang).
- Practical MongoDB integration and querying skills.
- Proven AWS cloud deployment and operations experience.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Comfortable with Linux scripting, TDD, and Git workflows.
- Experience in EV telematics, subscription, or usage-based billing systems.
- Familiarity with payment gateways
- Exposure to front-end development (Vue.js or React.js).
