We are seeking a skilled professional to join a team focused on building cutting-edge technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. The solutions you help create will shape how people interact with digital platforms, enabling seamless search and discovery experiences across devices and applications.


This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the most advanced high-performance computing environments. You will be part of a group that designs and develops large-scale infrastructures to power search features, ensuring speed, quality, and scalability at large scale.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and build infrastructure that supports large-scale search and discovery features.
  • Process and analyze vast volumes of data to identify, rank, and surface the most relevant content.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve retrieval quality, ranking, freshness, and performance.
  • Work at the intersection of quality and system efficiency, balancing relevance with high-throughput requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Strong background in machine learning, with practical expertise in major ML algorithms.
  • Proficiency in at least one of programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Scala, C/C++, Rust).
  • Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in information retrieval, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or ML applied to search and recommendation systems.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of scalable backend infrastructure, including profiling, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with distributed computing platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Spark).
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines.
