About the role

• The Senior Full-stack Developer will focus on backend-heavy web application development while also supporting frontend needs.
• The role involves collaborating with developers and project managers to analyze requirements, implement features, and release updates.
• The developer should bring clean coding practices, curiosity for learning, and openness to new perspectives.
• Work hours require overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications for products and client projects.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to analyze user requirements.
• Drive implementation and release of features and updates.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Support both backend and frontend aspects of projects.

Must have skills

• 7+ years’ experience with backend programming languages such as Java/JEE.
• 7+ years’ experience with frontend programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• 5+ years’ experience with modern frameworks including React, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• General understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience interfacing with APIs.
• Working knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues across multiple environments and operating systems.

Nice to have skills

• Experience in the EV industry.

Conditions

• Remote role with overlap required from 9 am to 1/2 pm EST (core hours: 9 am – 5 pm EST, flexible to 8 am – 4 pm EST).
• Contractor role, 12-month contract, renewable.
• Full-time dedication (40 hours/week).
• BYOD (bring your own device) required, with VPN access.
