💼 About the Role

RecoTek, Reconomy’s technology hub in Bucharest, is expanding its Security Operations Center (SOC) team. We are looking for a SOC Analyst to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and operational incidents.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining 24/7 security monitoring, supporting incident response, and continuously improving detection and response processes. This role is ideal for professionals who are technically proficient, analytical, and thrive in a dynamic security environment.

🚀 What You’ll Do

✅ Monitor SIEM and security tools for threats and incidents

📊 Analyze alerts, perform triage, and execute incident response procedures

📁 Document findings and maintain accurate incident records

📈 Support operational processes, system health monitoring, and performance metrics

🤝 Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and auditors during incident response

⚡ Identify patterns, contribute to process improvements, and help refine detection rules

📌 Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous learning

🎯 What You Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in IT security, SOC, or operations
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools
• Knowledge of incident handling, common attack vectors, and defense mechanisms
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and network/security concepts
• Basic scripting or automation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, or equivalent) preferred

Nice to have:

• Prior SOC or NOC experience
• Knowledge of cloud security, ITIL processes, or threat intelligence platforms
