Data Analyst

At Ondato, we’re on a mission to make digital identity and compliance simple, secure, and user-friendly. We’re looking for a Data Analyst who’s more than just a dashboard builder. You’ll support teams across Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success with reliable, actionable insights—while also being fluent enough in data engineering and science concepts to talk to technical colleagues and translate business needs into clean data requests.

This is not a back-office role. You’ll report directly to the CFO/COO, work cross-functionally, and help create a culture of smart, data-informed decision-making at Ondato.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor core SaaS metrics: MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, retention, funnel conversions, and more.
• Support the CFO with financial and operational modeling using real data.
• Translate business questions into data queries and requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product teams to define KPIs, measure performance, and guide decisions.
• Understand the structure and flow of our data—how it's collected, stored, transformed, and consumed.
• Work alongside data engineers and backend devs to ensure the right data is accessible in the right format.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in user behavior, funnel performance, product usage, etc.
• Run cohort analyses, user segmentation, and other exploratory deep dives
• Set up and maintain Power BI.
• Work with SQL and/or Python to automate recurring analysis and reporting tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or similar roles in B2B SaaS or tech.
• Solid command of SQL and data visualization tools.
• Some hands-on experience with or understanding data engineering concepts (ETLs, APIs, data pipelines, warehouses like BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake).
• Strong business and financial acumen—able to connect numbers to revenue levers and strategic priorities.
• Fluent in turning vague questions into clear, data-backed answers.
• Bonus: familiarity with HubSpot, SaaS billing data (e.g., Stripe, Chargebee), or product analytics tools.
