- remote, full time hours
- ongoing contract
- $55-65/hr range
- Lead UX strategy, research, and design for complex ecommerce flows across web and mobile.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Develop and maintain design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into elegant user experiences.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze data, and iterate on designs to optimize conversion and engagement.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team best practices.
- 5+ years of UX design experience with a focus on ecommerce or other high-transaction environments.
- Proven ability to produce both low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI).
- Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to advocate for user needs and design decisions.
- Availability to work EST hours while remote.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) to collaborate effectively with developers.
