Senior Financial Analyst (Contractor)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team in the Gulf-Levant region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing sales and expense reconciliations, month-end closings, and financial data management, while also driving the innovation of spend tracking and dashboard management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Expenses Reconciliations:
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of sales and expenses.
• Validate and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Month-End Closing:
• Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for closing.

• Accruals:
• Ensure accurate calculation and recording of accruals.
• Monitor and review the actual expenses against accruals.
• Conduct periodic reviews to adjust accrual estimates as needed.

• Data & Dashboard Management:
• Maintain and update financial databases and dashboards.
• Develop and generate regular financial reports and dashboards for management review.
• Utilize data analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

• Spend Tracking & Innovation:
• Track and monitor company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Identify and drive opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
• Innovate and implement new processes for efficient and effective spend tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data management tools.
• Experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
