Data Analyst - Supply Chain

Purpose and Scope


To enable data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming raw data into meaningful insights. This role supports key business functions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, measure performance, and guide strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Lead weekly meetings with customer replenishment teams to address production, shipping, and inventory concerns.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure optimal inventory levels and resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics.
  • Develop “get well” reports projecting inventory recovery timelines for specific items.
  • Extract data from customer systems and integrate it with internal order tracking information for comprehensive reporting.
  • Prepare and present clear and actionable monthly performance reviews to customers, including metric explanations and recommended solutions.
  • Generate reports to simplify complex supply chain data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery timelines.
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with OTIF metrics.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), particularly in liquids, and/or chemical manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
