Cloud Security Engineer

Our client, a major player in the energy landscape, seeks a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to enhance and secure their Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring compliance and resilience across critical energy systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies, conduct security assessments, and implement monitoring solutions.
  • Manage access controls, network segmentation, and identity management to maintain secure, least-privilege environments.
  • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps and engineering teams.
  • Monitor for security incidents, staying updated on threats and adapting security measures as needed.
  • Support governance efforts aligned with GDPR and other compliance standards.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience with Azure security tools and frameworks; certification preferred.
  • Proficient in policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., HashiCorp Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong background in network security, threat detection, and identity/access management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Location & Flexibility: Based in Brussels and Namur, with up to three remote days per week. Fluency in English required; additional language skills (French, Dutch, or German) are a plus.
