Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of On Premises application and tools to improve the development and operations processes. This role involves collaboration across development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure reliable and scalable solutions are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions.

CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.

Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to increase operational efficiency.

Monitoring and Performance: Set up monitoring systems, logs, and alerts to ensure high system availability and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand and address their needs.

Security: Ensure compliance with security policies, manage firewalls, and maintain secure environments.

Configuration Management: Use tools like Ansible management and versioning.

Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and performance issues promptly.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, infrastructure, and configurations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

Strong knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix

Understanding of version control systems e.g., Git

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs).

Experience in microservices architecture.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Devops related certification ) are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar DevOps role.

Proven experience in managing complex and scalable systems.
