PHP Developer - Brazil

Description

We’re seeking a dedicated Intermediate Backend Integrations Developer to work within our
Integrations team. You'll have the opportunity to work on our wide offering of integrations, including supporting current integrations, improving existing features, paying down technical debt (yup, we really do it!), and everything in between.
This role is an opportunity for you to really make a high impact and build as we enter our next phase of growth. We’re looking for someone that not only will be driving new integration feature development, but ensuring best practices are top of mind, and improving overall integration stability.

Responsibilities

• Your time will be divided between new features, supporting existing clients and integrations, repaying technical debt, and improving existing features
• You'll prioritize and work on multiple projects from start to finish, balancing quality, stability and project delivery
• You'll review your teammates' work, help set high standards, and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebase
• You'll work within your team to achieve technical excellence by taking a collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problems

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• You have 5+ years of professional experience with PHP
• You have experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• You have 2+ years experience working on large scale SaaS applications (no CMS please)
• You have deep experience with RESTful applications, and how to work with 3rd party APIs
• You have deep experience crafting optimized RDBMS queries
• You have a high bar for quality and hold yourself and your peers accountable to it
• You proactively take on challenges from start to finish
• You’re good at unblocking yourself and your team to keep things moving

• You’ve worked on a product development team that has delivered features and services from beginning to end
• You’re able to innovate through iteration. Breaking down product features into shippable value increments
• You've worked closely with engineering peers, product and design members to create high quality products that customers love to use
• Through code reviews and peer feedback, you advocate for high standards and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebase
• You take a collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problems
• You have experience working in a fully remote environment
