R&D Engineer Intern (100%)

At MaxWell Biosystems, we develop advanced instrumentation for neuroscience and life sciences applications. Our instruments consist of custom-designed CMOS -based sensor devices, a recording system with FPGAs and other electronic and mechanical components as well as software for data acquisition and analysis.

The internship project involves a broad variety of tasks and challenges including testing electrical readout circuits,

designing test setups, or programming test scripts. Therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated engineer to implement and work on some of these challenging tasks.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, physics or equivalent
• Experience with electronics
• Experience with Python programming
• Interest with designing experiments, evaluating data and reporting
• Interest in the field of neuroscience and biotechnology
• Hands-on, detail oriented, pro-active and open-minded spirit
