Senior Software Engineer - Java/Kotlin (Contract)

Signify has partnered with one of our key clients, who are looking to grow their engineering team.


Location - Netherlands - Hybrid

Role - Senior Software engineer

Length - 6 months


Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Java & Kotlin
  • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, particularly in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with GCP tools such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to architect and implement scalable solutions for high-volume applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and optimize the Elasticsearch-based search engine to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Introduce new features to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search results.
  • Scale and streamline data flow and infrastructure to support growing demands.
  • Develop Java/Kotlin services to enrich and enhance search result capabilities.
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alert systems to ensure system reliability.
