Modernize LLC is on the lookout for a Payroll and Operations Coordinator π§βπΌ whoβs meticulous, organized, and ready to make a difference! This role centers on managing payroll with precision, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance standards are met. β¨ Key Responsibilities:
π Payroll Administration
β’ π Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
β’ π§Ύ Handle payroll data, including hours, deductions, and bonuses.
β’ β° Verify and process timesheets, overtime, and other adjustments as needed.
β’ π€ Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll inquiries.
β’ π Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws; prepare and file payroll reports.
β’ πΌ Reconcile payroll accounts with Finance, ensuring accuracy.
π Operations Support
β’ π Assist in developing and implementing policies to streamline workflows.
β’ π Support cross-functional efforts to boost operational efficiency.
β’ π¦ Manage logistics: vendor relationships, purchase orders, and inventory.
β’ π Prepare reports and analyses to guide strategic decisions.
β’ π₯ Partner with HR to update records, onboard new hires, and maintain confidentiality.
π Compliance and Reporting
β’ π Ensure compliance with all legal standards in payroll and operations.
β’ π Conduct audits on payroll, benefits, and operations for data integrity.
β’ π Prepare and deliver accurate reports for management review.
β’ π Work with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies and recommend improvements.
π Qualifications:
β’ π Education: Bachelorβs in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field.
β’ π§© Experience: 2-3 years in payroll, operations coordination, or similar role.
β’ π» Technical Skills: Proficient in payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity) and Excel.
β’ π§Ύ Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with U.S. federal and state payroll regulations, 401(k) contributions, and wage laws.
β’ π’ Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for working with internal and external teams.
β’ π Attention to Detail: Strong organization and accuracy in data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ π§ Experience with HRIS and ERP systems.
β’ π Knowledge of lean operations or continuous improvement.
β’ π’ Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
β’ π Professional certifications (CPP or FPC) are a plus!
