Android Developer

*** Android Developer – On site in Malmö - Initial 6 Month Contract - Leading Organisation ***

RED Global are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our clients App Team and work on customer-facing mobile applications. This role will be a key part of ongoing projects, as well as the continued improvement and maintenance of existing apps.

We’re looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed, thrives in agile environments, and brings both strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to the team.

📍 Location: Malmö (on-site presence required at least 4 days per week – candidates must be based in the Skåne region).

⏳ Start date: End of September/Start of October

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of customer-facing Android applications.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team in an agile setup.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate, communicate openly, and provide/receive constructive feedback.
• Help ensure apps are accessible and meet WCAG standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency in unit testing and version control with Git.
• Experience developing accessible apps (WCAG compliance).
• A collaborative mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
