Information Technology Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation to completion. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Initiation
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Identify project risks and establish mitigation strategies.
• Execution & Delivery
• Lead project teams across IT and business units to achieve milestones.
• Monitor project progress, manage changes, and resolve issues proactively.
• Ensure alignment between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Communication & Reporting
• Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders, management, and project teams.
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and steering committees.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Post-Implementation & Continuous Improvement
• Conduct project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Support knowledge transfer and training to operational teams.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve delivery practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar project management role.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
