Business Intelligence Analyst

Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for preparing insightful BI analyses and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves gathering reporting requirements, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports using industry-standard tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document reporting requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze data and deliver recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Perform quality assurance and validate conclusions to ensure accuracy.
Select appropriate analytical methods to address business problems.
Extract and transform data from various enterprise systems (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, SAP HANA, Salesforce).
Automate reporting workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, or Python.
Collaborate with senior BI analysts and BI leaders to understand user needs and clarify assignment objectives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding analysis outcomes and reporting insights.
Adhere to globally standardized dashboards and reporting best practices.

Responsibilities

Skills and Experience

3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report publishing.
Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and data transformation.
Experience integrating and analyzing Salesforce data for reporting.
Hands-on experience with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Python for workflow automation is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
