At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania - Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer to support a leading manufacturer in the intralogistics sector. The role focuses on the design and development of a cloud communication data interface, enabling the integration of operating information from customer products into a cloud platform. The position is primarily remote, with occasional pre-agreed on-site presence in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data interfaces for cloud communication
• Program in C and C++ on embedded Linux systems
• Implement network protocols, including MQTT and REST
• Integrate solutions into existing hardware and software architectures
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Strong expertise in embedded software development with C and C++
• Proven experience with embedded Linux
• Solid knowledge of network protocols, especially MQTT and REST
• Understanding of cloud connectivity, such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT
• Experience working in agile environments such as Scrum
• English fluency is required; German is a plus
