Job Description

For our customer based in Zug we are seeking an experienced IT Product Owner for a long term project

We are offering the following position as a temporary IT labor position: IT Product Owner

Position

IT Product Owner (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Co-Creating the Product Vision and Strategy
  • Developing and Communicating the Product Goal
  • Shaping the backlog for a better Deliverable
  • Accountable for representing the stakeholders to an AGILE team, acting as the bridge between both
  • Plays a major role in sprint planning and refinement. Engages in reviews, retrospectives, and other ceremonies
  • Performance measurement
  • Continuously improves the product based on feedback from key stakeholders
  • Ensures the completeness and consistency of the product deliverable under Siemens' quality standards
  • Balances vision and budget
  • Identifies opportunities and creates value

Personal skills

  • Action oriented. Should be able to follow up persistently on feedback to ensure positive outcomes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum)
  • Fluent in English required, German a plus

Technical skills

  • Experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data mining
  • Knowledge in data architecture and platform setups
  • Knowledge of visualizing and presenting insights from data with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI or Qlik

General Conditions

  • Workload: 90% from October 1, 2025
  • Near-shore: Theoretically possible, German language skills preferred – English sufficient
