Are you a seasoned firmware engineer ready to take the next step in your career? This is your opportunity to move into a leadership role where you'll have full ownership of the firmware function for one of Ireland’s fastest-growing and best-funded tech companies.

With €20 million raised in 2024, this organisation is entering a major expansion phase and they’re looking for a Firmware Team Lead to establish and grow their embedded engineering capabilities in Ireland.

This is a greenfield project: you'll be the first firmware hire on the ground, setting the technical direction, shaping architecture, and building a new team from scratch. You’ll work closely with the CTO and senior leadership to bring embedded development fully in-house, building both the technology and the team that will define the company’s future.

Your Role:

• Take full ownership of the firmware development lifecycle for both new and existing products
• Lead the effort to bring hardware and firmware development in-house
• Build and lead a new embedded team as the project grows

What You Bring:

• 6+ years of experience in embedded systems development using C/C++
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based embedded platforms
• Experience working with video or camera-based systems
